| Hans J. Wegner Flag Halyard Chair |
Ernest Pouf |
| It takes a craftsperson an entire day to string the chair, which is
wrapped with a single uncut 240-meter piece of flag line, designed to
resist unnecessary stretching over time. The luxurious long-haired
sheepskin is extremely soft, sourced from humanely managed farms in
Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Made in Denmark |
The Ernest Pouf (2011) by Donna Wilson is characteristic of the
designer's playful nature, tactile aesthetic and timeless palette.
Seeking a fun response to the problem of occasional seating, she
designed the low-lying Pouf to bring a little softness, intimacy and
color into the home |

| Metropolitan Chair and Ottoman |
Møller Trolley |
| For B&B Italia, he created the Metropolitan (2003), an inviting
swivel armchair and ottoman. Its high back is the perfect mix of Italian
sophistication and comfort, while the neck rest is held in place with
magnets to make it adjustable for people of all heights. "A seat that
flows uninterrupted into the armrest is the hallmark of this design, and
creates a truly unique seating experience and a comfy place to relax,"
says Bernett |
The Trolley can be used as a bar, serving trolley, occasional table
or even a printer stand in an executive office. To make the solid walnut
frame, Møller hand-selects raw wood from environmentally friendly
sources and never uses machines for the final polish, as these devices
treat all wood the same and can't replicate the finish that comes from
polishing by hand. Founded in 1944 by Niels Otto Møller, J.L. Møllers
Møbelfabrik is located in Denmark and has received many awards,
including the Danish Furniture Prize in 1974 and 1981 |

| Suita Sofa
|
Suita Sofa with Tray
|
| Antonio Citterio's collaboration with Vitra began in 1985, and the
Suita Sofa Collection represents the best of both parties – Citterio’s
Italian flair for lightness and elegance with Vitra’s precision and
workmanship. A collection made for how we live today, Suita lets you
customize the piece to suit your needs |
A collection made for how we live today, Suita lets you customize
the piece to suit your needs. The 92" Sofa with Tray comes in 14 colors,
across two types of upholstery finishes. The tray, which is available in
two different finishes (Soft Light Pebble and Basic Dark Pebble), gives
you a built-in shelf for books or a lamp, or you can pull up a chair and
make it a workspace for your laptop. |

| Suita Sectional
|
Shell Chair
|
| Use the Suita One-Arm Sofa (with or without tray) and Chaise (with
or without headrest) to create a sectional to fit your space. Available
in 14 colors, across two types of upholstery finishes. Architect and
designer Antonio Citterio |
Sometimes called the “smiling chair,” his Shell Chair (1963)
achieves a floating lightness due to its wing-like seat and the arching
curves of its tapered legs. And while it stands on only three legs, this
chair has an absolute stability that could only be achieved by someone
with Wegner’s expertise in cabinetmaking and architecture. Wegner’s
belief that a chair “should be beautiful from all sides and angles” is
especially evident with his Shell Chair. This comfortable masterpiece is
a marvel of grace and beauty. Made in Denmark |

| CH468 Chair
|
Wing Chair and Ottoman
|
| Wegner’s CH468 Chair was designed in 1960, but it wasn’t until 2010
that Carl Hansen & Son – Wegner’s exclusive manufacturer and license
holder – brought it into production. This upholstered chair is roomy
enough to allow for various lounging positions, while its back, which is
divided into three parts, offers support for the whole spine. The
enveloping seat, back and arms are perfectly balanced on polished
stainless steel legs, which offer material counterpoint and visual
lightness. Denmark |
Regarded as the “chair-maker of chair-makers,” the Danish designer
created more than 400 chairs in his lifetime. Although Wegner designed
his Wing Chair in 1960, it wasn’t put into production until 2006 –
debuting at the IMM Cologne furniture fair where it received a classic
innovation award for its timeless appeal. The “wings” of this chair
provide superior support for your upper back, neck and head, while the
roomy seat allows you to sit in a variety of positions. Made in Denmark |

| Wegner Coffee Table
|
Moebius Table |
| Though he’s known as the “master of chairs,” Danish modernism
pioneer Hans Wegner didn’t entirely neglect the other categories.
Applying his signature organic, yet minimal, form, the Wegner Coffee
Table (1954) is perfectly balanced on three legs, defying gravity with
its visual lightness |
We discovered the Moebius Table in Parma, Italy, but with its
endless looping base and delicately suspended glass surface, this is a
design that defies national boundaries. The solid walnut base flares and
narrows in six arcs, creating a look of poised animation |

| Lamino Sheepskin Chair and Ottoman
|
Taburet M Stacking Stool
|
| When you walk around the Lamino Chair, you’ll see that Ekström was a
designer who carefully considered every view. Sculptural in shape, the
frame flows from one graceful line to the next. Fortunately, Ekström
also knew how to make something comfortable, and the way that this chair
follows the natural contours of the human form is truly brilliant. Made
in Sweden |
The Taburet M Stacking Stool is almost pure abstraction, making
minimum impact on space and redefining "seat" in the simplest sense.
Yet, the stool is quite substantial, offering a low, comfortable seat |

| Sawbuck Chair
|
Easy Chair
|
| Hans J. Wegner has been referred to as the “master of chairs.” The
Sawbuck Chair (1952), crafted from both solid walnut and oak, is
finished in a clear lacquer that highlights the natural and contrasting
characteristics of the different woods. This durable chair is assembled
entirely from wood – with no metal hardware – and the pieces fit snugly
together like an ingenious puzzle. The seat and back are upholstered in
Kvadrat wool, adding enduring comfort to Wegner’s versatile and timeless
chair, a standout among the hundreds. Made in Denmark |
Sculptural and balanced, his Easy Chair (1950) embodies this maxim,
a classic example of the “organic functionalism” for which he is famous.
Its natural elegance is exemplified by the paper cord that creates the
seat and back – more than 1300 feet of cord is used on each chair. Hand
woven by a skilled craftsperson, it’s a process that takes eight to 10
hours. Made in Denmark |

Malena Armchair - Walnut Frame - Velvet
|
Malena Armchair - Leather
|
| Jon Gasca's Malena Chair (1997) has character and detail that stand
out from every angle. Two sweeping back legs frame a distinctive ladder
back, which lightens the normally heavy form of most upholstered club
chairs. |
The solid beech wood frame is available in an assortment of wood
stains, and the graceful curve of the back slats provides excellent
lumbar support. The seat and back cushions follow the contours of the
chair and are upholstered in supple, but durable, semi-aniline leather.
Two or more Malena chairs arranged side by side create a theater seating
effect. |

Tavolo Con Ruote Limited Edition Coffee Table

| Jon Gasca's Malena Collection (1997) has character and detail that
stand out from every angle. Two sweeping back legs frame a distinctive
ladder back, which lightens the normally heavy form of most 3-seat

It takes a bit of bravado to live with this iconic piece by Gae
Aulenti, who believes strongly in the concept of surprise. Italy |

| Nube Armchair in Sarah Morris Fabric
|
Stacked Shelving System
|
| The father-and-son design team of Jesús and Jon Gasca combined right
angles with sensuous curves to create their Nube Armchair (2008). With
its startlingly simple and architectural structure that can be viewed
from any angle, this is a chair that's full of surprises. Nube is
available in solid colors (one color for the angular parts, a different
tone for the curved) or patterns by Sarah Morris, giving you endless
possibilities for contract or residential applications |
Leave it to an architect to create a shelving system that’s as
versatile as building blocks. The work of Belgian-Dane Julien De Smedt
of JDS Architects, this modular system lets you create a shelving unit
to fit your space and style. these boxes can be randomly stacked or
precisely coordinated into a grid. The three sizes are scaled to
accommodate all kinds of books. And while there are only three boxes
offered, there are actually five shapes to work with, depending on how
you position the two rectangles. The negative spaces created between
boxes give you even more shapes with which to play. Use the colorful
steel clips (sold in sets of 5) to connect the boxes. |

Twilight Sleep Sofa - Cento
|
Traversina Sleeper
|
| Designed in response to a furniture competition at the Arhus School
of Architecture in Denmark in 1999, the Twilight Sleep Sofa ingeniously
accomplishes what many conventional convertible sofas cannot do: It
functions as a single person daybed or easily unfolds for multiple
sleepers |
Danish designers/architects Flemming Busk and Stephan Hertzog bring
their characteristic clean geometric lines and a simple expression to
the Traversina Sleeper Sofa (2006). Its low profile and minimalist form
are a far cry from your grandmother’s back-wrenching hide-a-bed. |

Twilight Sleep Sofa - Aluminum Frame
|
Havana Sleeper Sofa with Storage
|
| Winner of a furniture competition at the Århus School of
Architecture in Denmark in 1999, Flemming Busk’s Twilight Sleep Sofa
distills the concept of a convertible couch to a simple cylinder and
rectangle. A compact and nicely scaled sofa, the bolster pillow adjusts
to three different positions for customized seat depths and lumbar
support. |
Offering the island-like sanctuary of a large chaise lounge, the
versatility of a sofa bed, and the storage of a cupboard, the Havana
Sleeper Sofa with Storage (2004) readily adapts to the demands of modern
living. As a sofa, its deep berth invites easy lounging for a small
group or cat napping for one or two. Italy |
