select quality products made from down, there are two things to watch for: the
first is loft which is the standard by which all goose down is measured and
refers to the fill power or the space that is filled by 1 ounce of down; the
second is the type of construction. The loft will affect the warmth and height
of the comforter. From least loft or fill power to most in white goose down:
Chinese (550), Hungarian (650), Polish (750) and Siberian (800). Superior
construction keeps the down evenly distributed, usually in 15 inch squares
either baffle box or stitched.

Selecting Bedding
Thread count is a measure of the threads per inch
used to weave the fabric. The higher the T/C, the softer and silkier the touch.
Egyptian cotton has a longer loop which makes it softer and more comfortable.
Fabrics made in the US with longer loops are called Pima Cotton.
